Today we took a walk by the Rio Grande. We saw the last of some migrating Canada geese, lots of lovely native plants, a roadrunner (before I moved here I thought that was just a cartoon. The real birds are fascinating to watch and remind me of some sort of prehistoric being), and a crazy-colored feather.

I love that feather picture!! I find feathers a lot while on walks and someone told me once they mean you are on the right path. :)
ReplyDeleteOh what a lovely sentiment! It was a nice afternoon so I'll take that idea to heart . . .
